Apex and Apex Plus Fine Point Active Stylus

GETTING STARTED

1) Before use, install battery. To access battery compartment, twist the end cap counterclockwise to remove (Figure 1).

USAGE

1) To power ON, push the button. When the stylus is ON, the LED indicator will glow BLUE.
2) To turn OFF, push the button until the BLUE light turns OFF.
3) Do not press hard when using stylus. Excessive pressure to tip may cause damage.
4) Hold the stylus in the 'Grip Zone' to ensure consistent writing. The 'Grip Zone' is the textured area near the tip that detects the user's touch.

MAINTENANCE

1) To replace the battery, access the battery compartment by twisting the end cap counterclockwise to remove. Requires AAA battery.
2) To replace the nib, make sure the unit is off and follow the instructions below (Figure 2).

GETTING STARTED

1) IMPORTANT: Before use, fully charge the stylus using the included micro USB cable.
2) Access the micro USB charging port on the stylus by twisting the cap counterclockwise to remove (Figure 1).


3) Plug the micro USB end of the cable into the stylus (Figure 2). Plug the USB end of the cable into the USB port on your computer or directly into a universal USB AC wall adapter to charge.


4) The button on the clip will glow RED when the stylus is charging. When the stylus is fully charged, the button will glow BLUE.

USAGE

1) To power ON/OFF, press the button on the clip and hold for 3 seconds. When the stylus is ON, the LED indicator near the tip will glow BLUE. When the stylus is OFF, the LED indicator will turn OFF. NOTE: stylus will automatically turn off after 30 minutes.
2) Do not press hard when using the stylus. Excessive pressure to tip may cause damage.

MAINTENANCE

1) To replace the nib, make sure the unit is off and follow the instructions below (Figure 3).

2) When the battery power is low, the button will blink and glow YELLOW. Recharge before continuing use.
