The Apex Fusion utilizes a rechargeable battery to power the active circuitry inside of the stylus.
The active circuitry is needed because fine point styluses interact with touchscreens differently than passive styluses or our fingers do. This is because touchscreens are laid out in a grid, so when you are using a stylus with a tip smaller than those grid squares, the tablet software communicates with the active circuitry to register the touch and neatly display your handwriting or drawing while using the small, pen-like tip.
The Apex Fusion is not limited to one specific app and will work with any touch app on your iPad. For a list of our recommended apps, please visit this link.
When you are using the Apex Fusion on a device that has a screen protector, it is possible you will see a decrease in performance since screen protectors add an extra layer that interferes with the conductivity of the stylus. Depending on the thickness of the screen protector, you may be required to apply more pressure when writing and as a result, you may see some skipping since the device will not be able to read the stylus as well.
The device will be able to more easily detect the touch of your finger or a larger tipped passive stylus through the screen protector since either of those would have a larger surface area.
The Apex Fusion does not require Bluetooth or for any special software to be installed prior to use. You can simply pick up the stylus, turn it on, and begin using it on your favorite apps.
The Apex Fusion was not designed with a built-in pressure sensing feature, but rather was designed to function like a traditional pen on paper. You can change the size of the lines from thick to thin within the handwriting or drawing app you are using.
The Apex Fusion does not have a built-in palm rejection or wrist protection feature. This particular feature is typically built into the software of the app, so it can be enabled and disabled within the settings tab on the app itself.
The Apex Fusion was designed to work on all current iPads, including the iPad 2/3/4, iPad Mini, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro 9.7 inch, and iPad Pro 12.9 inch. It also works on many popular Android devices.
Since all touchscreen inputs are different, it is possible you will see a difference in performance on tablets and touchscreens that are not an iPad.
Replacement nibs are available through our website. To place an order for the replacement nibs, please visit this link.
When you are ready to replace the nib, please first make sure the device is off. You can then gently pull on the nib with your fingers or tweezers and it will easily slide out. To put a new nib on, simply slide a replacement nib into the opening on the base of the stylus.
The jagged lines that you are seeing when writing or drawing on a diagonal is actually not a malfunction of the stylus. This happens to be a case where the hardware (stylus) has evolved further than the software (app). This will be especially noticeable when you are writing or drawing slowly.
The jagged line that occurs when slowly drawing diagonal lines on touchscreens is common in all active styluses currently on the market. This is because touchscreens are laid out in a grid, and since our fine point stylus is smaller than the grid squares, the software needs to calculate the position of the stylus correctly.
When writing straight lines up, down, and across, the software correctly displays the position of the stylus. When making diagonal lines at normal drawing speeds, the software calculates the position and “smooths” the movement of the stylus along the diagonal of the grid into a smooth line.
However, if you slowly draw diagonal lines across the grid, the software traces along the boxy grid lines and delivers a jagged line as the output.
Some note-taking applications have already started the integration of smoothing algorithms that are designed to straighten the diagonal lines when drawing slowly. As the hardware and software continue to mature, this should no longer be noticeable.
Older iPads, such as the iPad 2, have a slower processor than the newer iPad models do. If you are running an app that needs a fast processor, you will see a lag time when using any stylus. This lag time is not present with the faster processors on the newer iPad models.
Each Apex Fusion will be shipped with a micro USB cable which can plug into any charging point including computers, laptops, phone charges, etc.
Yes, the Apex Fusion can be used while it is plugged in and charging.
Each charge should last for approximately 16 hours of regular use. It can be recharged as often as necessary, and the battery can be recharged more than 500 times.
The automatic shutoff feature has been designed so the Apex Fusion will automatically power off after 30 minutes.
If your Apex Fusion is skipping, jumping, or not registering on your screen, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Confirm the nib is firmly seated on the stylus. If the nib is loose, it will cause jumping or skipping when writing.
2. Clean your screen. We have found that screens with a buildup of oil or smudges can often times cause jumping or skipping.
3. Verify that the stylus has a nice, full charge. Low battery could result in jumping or skipping.
4. Test out the palm rejection or wrist protection settings. You may simply need to make a few setting adjustments within the settings tab on the app so you can comfortably rest your hand on the touchscreen without seeing any jumping or skipping.
5. Turn off the multi-tasking gesture setting on your tablet. This can cause interference with the conductivity of the stylus.
If problems persist, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you further.

Flip uses an incredibly simple and unique method of communication with any iOS device so you can write on your iPhone or iPad just like you would with a pen and paper.
In the past, advanced smart stylus features like flip to erase, palm rejection, and others have required complex electronics. To improve upon this, we've powered Flip with magnets.
Our rare earth magnets produce an exact invisible magnetic field that is always on, just like the earth's magnetic field.
Flip’s smart features work with all iPads and iPhones.
Flip will work like any normal passive stylus on all touchscreen devices, similar to the way your finger works. Flip’s smart features such as flip to erase and palm rejection can be unlocked when used with compatible apps on the App Store. Flip compatible apps are not currently offered on Google Play or for Android devices, so you would be unable to utilize those features.
To unlock Flip’s smart features such as flip to erase and palm rejection, you will need to use an app that supports the SDK for Flip. On apps where the SDK is not supported, Flip will work like any normal passive stylus.
Flip comes with a free, easy to use notetaking and drawing app called FlipNotes. We also know that many users already have a favorite app, so we have developed an SDK for Flip that allows any notetaking or drawing app developer to quickly integrate Flip’s features into their software.
We have found that app developers will typically respond more quickly to their direct users, so if you have a favorite app that does not currently support Flip, please send a quick email to the app developers and ask them to support Flip. This way, the app developers will know that their users are interested in seeing an integration between Flip and their app and may prioritize the integration. If they are interested, we will gladly provide them with our SDK for Flip!
No. Flip's patented software algorithms, developed by our software partner Widevantage, use the hardware already in your iOS device to sense and detect Flip's magnetic field and determine the precise location and orientation of the stylus. This allows Flip’s smart features such as palm rejection and flip to erase to work perfectly without ever needing a battery.

Depending on the thickness of the screen protector, you may see a decrease in the functionality of the stylus. This would be true of any stylus on the market since screen protectors add an extra layer between the stylus and your touchscreen that could interfere with the conductivity of the stylus.
Yes. The TruGlide functions even better and more precisely than your finger when writing or drawing on your touchscreen.
We offer a one-year limited warranty on all of our products and will be glad to assist you with any defects that may occur on your stylus. Since the TruGlide’s conductive fiber tip is more durable than rubber, we do not find it necessary to offer replacement tips for most products.
No. The TruGlide is constructed of patented conductive microfibers that feel like silk and are designed to glide across your screen, not scratch it. In fact, one strand is 10x finer than silk and 100x smaller than a fine strand of cotton fiber.
Relative to a rubber tipped stylus, the TruGlide tip is much firmer, mimicking a fingertip, but with greater accuracy, needing less resistance on a touchscreen. The conductive fiber tip is designed to glide across the screen, without the skipping that takes place with a rubber tip. The woven fiber is also 10 times more durable than the rubber tip, lasting through lots of regular use.
The TruGlide Duo Stylus Pen utilizes high quality ball point pen refills, such as Parker. These pen refills can be purchased at most office supply stores.
No. We do not recommend washing the fiber tip, as this will decrease the life of your stylus and may cause the tip to lose its functionality.
We recommend cleaning your stylus by gently brushing off the tip with a microfiber cleaning cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Check out our Smartie Microfiber Cloths, which are made of high quality microfiber that is designed to pick up 99.9% of bacteria, dirt, and germs off surfaces.
No. The tip is not made with hair of any kind, including animal or human hair.
One of the main reasons why your TruGlide may have stopped functioning is if the fiber tip got wet or was somehow exposed to moisture. Because the tip is conductive, there is a metal component to the fiber (which will not scratch your screen), so when exposed to any moisture it will cause the tip to lose its function.
Another reason why it may lose functionality is if your tablet screen and/or the tip of the stylus is dirty. We would recommend keeping both the tip of your stylus and tablet screen clean for maximum responsiveness from the stylus. You can clean off the tip of your stylus by gently brushing off the fiber tip with a microfiber cleaning cloth.
The other reason this could happen is if there is a tear or hole in the fiber material. The conductive fiber is very durable but can still tear if rubbed up against Velcro or something sharp, such as keys.
If problems persist, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you further.
The 360° GripStand utilizes microsuction technology to grip directly onto your tablet, instantly providing standing support.
You can easily remove and reuse the stand without leaving any sticky residue on your tablet. The fully adjustable hinge allows a wide range of viewing angles, and the 8-directional swivel head provides 360 degrees of rotation to seamlessly transition from portrait to landscape viewing mode.
First, ensure that both your tablet and the stand are clean and free from any dirt or dust. It is important to wipe off any dirt or dust on your tablet before attaching the stand. You can then gently remove the protective film from the sticky pad (avoid touching sticky pad with fingers) and firmly attach it to your tablet.
Hold your tablet with one hand and wrap your fingers around the curved part with the other hand. Pull the curved part slowly and gently until the sticky pad is released. Please do not pull the stand quickly or firmly when removing, as this could cause damage to the product.
Once the stand has been removed, simply attach the protective cover onto the sticky pad to store until next use.
To clean the stand, you can simply use a wet and lint-free wipe or cloth to remove dirt and dust from the sticky pad. You can also clean it by running a little bit of water on the sticky pad and gently rubbing it clean with your finger.
We do not recommend using soap or any solvents, as this will cause the sticky pad to no longer stick to your tablet.
The 360° GripStand tends to work best when it is being used on a flat surface, such as the back of the tablet or a smooth case.
When you are using the stand on a textured tablet, leather case, or silicone case, it is possible the microsuction technology will be weakened due to the uneven surface on the textured material.
The microsuction technology on the stand may be weakened when used on textured tablets, leather cases, or silicone cases.
It is also important to clean the stand to ensure there is no dirt or dust on the sticky pad.

Reeljuice comes with both micro USB and Apple certified Lightning connectors which are compatible with Android and newer iOS devices. If your mobile device has either of these inputs, Reeljuice will work.
If your mobile device has a different type of input, you can most likely find a micro USB adapter for the input you need through a third-party website.
Reeljuice 3X will take approximately 2.5 hours to charge using a 10 Watt input like the 10 Watt Rapid Wall Charging Module and approximately 5 hours to charge using a 5 Watt input.
Reeljuice 5X will take approximately 4 hours to charge using a 10 Watt input like the 10 Watt Rapid Wall Charging Module and approximately 8 hours to charge using a 5 Watt input.
The charging speed of each mobile device is based on the rate of charge the manufacturer will allow into the mobile device’s battery, and each mobile device is different. For example, the iPhone 6 includes a 5 Watt charger in the box, allowing a charging rate of around 1 Amp. However, Apple actually allows you to use a maximum charging rate of 2.1 Amp, which is faster.
Reeljuice's max charging rate is also 2.1 Amp, which is typically the fastest charging rate allowed by mobile device developers.
This will vary depending on the mAh of battery capacity that your mobile device holds, as well as which Reeljuice model you have selected.
A fully charged Reeljuice 3X will hold 5,300mAh of battery, and a fully charged Reeljuice 5X will hold 8,000mAh of battery. For a quick comparison, here is a list of additional popular mobile devices and the mAh for those mobile devices.

Yes, pass-through charging is a great feature of Reeljuice. When you plug-in your Reeljuice and mobile device at the same time, you will actually be recharging both the power bank and your mobile device.
When you plug-in your Reeljuice and mobile device at the same time, your mobile device will automatically be charged first. Once your mobile device has been full recharged, the power supply will bounce back to Reeljuice and begin charging the power bank.
We are using the world's leading lithium ion battery suppliers out of Japan because we want the best batteries possible to power Reeljuice. These batteries are rated to maintain 80% of their original capacity after more than 500 cycles, which is very good to compared to most battery packs which are designed to last around 100 cycles.
Safety is a big concern when replacing batteries, and therefore, the cells in Reeljuice cannot be replaced. Opening Reeljuice will void the one-year limited warranty.
The input is full universal AC input voltage range from 90 to 264V AC.
Reeljuice has a micro USB connector, with a micro USB to lightning adapter included. If you have a device that uses a 30-pin connecter then you can certainly get an adapter for that, as well.
Though Reeljuice does come pre-charged, new battery compliance regulations prevent it from being allowed to be shipped 100% fully charged. Therefore, every Reeljuice will be partially charged before being packaged and shipped so that users may still use it straight out of the box.
There is a socket in the battery pack where you can store the lightning adapter when it is not in use. You can also leave it attached to the micro USB connector, and it will stay snug in the compartment without being lost.
To see the battery level of your Reeljuice, simply press the Power Status Button on the side panel. When the button is pressed, a combination of blue LEDs will light up for 5 seconds based on the charge of the battery.

The reason for this is that once the battery reaches the final charging stage and is near capacity, it begins to charge at a reduced rate. This is a safety feature to protect the battery from overcharging.
Think of it like filling up a water balloon; when it’s about 90% full, you want to slow the water flow down so that the balloon doesn’t break.
Many mobile device manufacturers have set a limit as to how quickly your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device will accept a charge once it has reached 80% to 85% of available battery.
This feature has been put into place by the mobile device manufacturers directly to simply slow down the charging speed at a certain point so the battery inside of the mobile device is not damaged if it is accepting a charge too quickly. This is not a limitation of Reeljuice, but rather a limitation that has been set on the mobile device itself by the manufacturer.
In addition, if you have multiple apps or an app that requires a high level of battery power running on your mobile device while it is using Reeljuice, the battery power on your mobile device will deplete at the same level that Reeljuice is charging the mobile device. Think of it like running water into a sink with the drain open; you have to close the drain in order to fill the sink with water. If you have too many apps open, the battery on your device will continue to drain while Reeljuice is charging it, resulting in a static battery level.i.
If the included Lightning Adapter that shipped with your Reeljuice does not seem to fit on the micro USB connector, please check to make sure it is facing the correct way.
If you continue to have a problem with the Lightning adapter, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you further.
